Bake Off Binge (part 2/2)

We bought ourselves one month of Netflix for Christmas. First order of business: catch up on The Great British Bake Off!

A Weekend in Salzburg

When we made plans to spend two months in Prague, a weekend in Salzburg was quickly added to the calendar.

A Question of Time

I was browsing the shelves of a Barnes and Noble and purchased David Mitchell’s first book, Ghostwritten. The novel follows a timeline – how much time is unclear – and is narrated by 10 different “people,” “people” because one of them is a transmigrating mind. Very odd, but it became our next read-aloud.

“Oo-de-lally, golly what a day”

Our most recent read was Howard Pyle’s The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood. It’s good to return to a classic every now and again, but this one was a lot of starts and stops. We were both expecting a fluid, quick-moving story, but we were sorely disappointed.

‘Twas the Week Before Christmas

Was Sunday REALLY the Fourth Sunday of Advent? Nah. It couldn’t have been.
