Last Minute Baking
I threw together another batch of scones. This time, however, I had to get a little creative since we were out of fresh fruit. And since we’ve been on a bit of a lavender kick I finally worked it into a bake.
More (or less) Time
I’ve been doing a lot of baking – it’s a good de-stressor for me. The honeymoon is next week, and my next freelance article is due the day before we leave. I think it’s all getting to me in some way, so I keep turning to the kitchen.

Look, I did a magic trick! All those M&M’s in the candy dish? I’ve turned them into a super healthy snack! A snack that’s *almost* better than the M&M’s themselves.
Motivation…and Rice
Onigiri, or rice balls. My boss’ wife has made me a few over the past year, when nights get long and the donuts pile up. And they’re soooo good. And also super simple.
